Our octaboxes, like the softboxes, provide a soft, diffused output that evenly covers your subject with a gorgeous wash of light. The octaboxes differ from the softboxes only in shape, as the octagonal shape of the octaboxes delivers a more rounded throw, producing a round catch light. The light bounces off of the internally silver-lined walls of the octabox, then shines through the front diffusion panel. Octaboxes provide very soft shadows because of their size and the wrap around effect on shadows.
We offer two octaboxes, each crafted with a translucent white front panel, an opaque black exterior shell, and internal silver lining. Each octabox arrives with the LGSR speedring for faceplate attachment, and a second optional internal diffusion panel.
